Dummies Guide to DMOZ.ORGThe Open Directory is a human edited directory of web sites. It differs from search engines such as Google and AltaVista, that build a list of web sites by having automated programs search through the web looking at pages and text in the pages, and creating massive indexes of text, which are then used to try to find relevant matches for searches. The Open Directory (also known as ODP or DMOZ) is located at http://www.dmoz.org/ -- see More about the ODP
Suggestions for additional topics may be posted in the Yahoo Group [above]. However, no questions about site status, or specific requests for getting sites listed will be accepted.
